Green Theory opens flagship showroom for Outerspace

Press release - Outerspace, our new outdoor kitchen brand, has officially opened its flagship showroom in Vancouver’s Armoury District. Founded and built in British Columbia, the launch marks the public debut of the brand and its mission: to bring elevated, modular outdoor kitchens and furnishings into backyards, patios, and contemporary architectural spaces, crafted to elevate the way we live outside.

Designed and manufactured locally, Outerspace kitchens are made for year-round performance across rooftops, patios, and decks. The brand currently offers two distinct kitchen systems, with more designs underway, including a line of outdoor furniture pieces like side tables and benches.

Outerspace kitchens are modular by design and highly customizable, built to adapt to a wide range of outdoor spaces and cooking styles. Material finish options include stainless steel, powder-coated aluminum in custom colours, and exterior-grade laminate available in both solid and wood grain finishes. All are selected for durability and long-term outdoor use.

The flexible system of modules can be tailored to fit each layout, and Outerspace partners with premium appliance suppliers to integrate grills, cook tops, refrigeration, and more.

Inspired by European design and built with North American functionality, each piece balances refined aesthetics with practical, everyday use. Details like pull-out garbage drawers, hidden storage, and prep-ready surfaces ensure a seamless blend of form and function.

“Our kitchens are designed to bring the comfort and intentionality of indoor living into outdoor spaces,” said Joel Franske, Managing Partner at Green Theory. “Whether it’s a rooftop, a backyard, or a compact patio, we see it as an extension of the home. This showroom is a space to see how design, durability, and lifestyle can meet outside.”

Outerspace is also designing a new line of outdoor furniture, set to launch later this summer. Like the kitchens, the furniture will reflect the brand’s West Coast roots, minimalist sensibility, and commitment to performance in all seasons.

The Outerspace showroom is located in Vancouver’s Armoury District and is open by appointment only. To schedule a visit or learn more, visit www.outerspaceos.com or contact Green Theory via info@greentheory.com.
