Although Flat Pack was originally developed with shipping in mind, it quickly became an opportunity to challenge the conventions of a traditional planter box. In terms of aesthetic, Flat Pack ranges from modern minimalist to completely conventional. Our aim is to offer a line of planters that are highly considered objects and elevate the organic nature of their contents.
Flat Pack employs a fastening system that integrates corners and legs into one mechanism – two panels are joined by sliding a locking bar onto hooks. Each locking bar is formed with a foot that connects the planter base to the walls by threading rubber feet at the underside of the base.
The Flat Pack base is an inverted pan that allow walls to extend to the bottom of the planter. Each wall is tapered and welded to create a completed finish. The stainless steel and polyurethane leveling feet are designed to have minimal exposure and create a floating reveal when standing.
